South Korean boy bands Super Junior and TVXQ will be reminiscing about their friendship in the upcoming travel documentary Analog Trip.

It will feature TVXQ’s Yunho and Changmin as well as Super Junior’s Leeteuk, Shindong, Eunhyuk and Donghae as they travel through Indonesia with just their backpacks.

The show offers an intimate look into the bond between the group members, footage of themĀ appreciating the grandeur and beauty of nature, and moments where they share their innermost feelings and thoughts.

The press conference for Analog Trip was held in Gangnam Seoul on 27 Sept at the SM Town Coex Artium.

During the event, Yunho shared, ā€œThrough the show, I experienced the past I had forgotten as well as the mindset when I was a trainee. I’d like everyone to see that as well.ā€

Then he added, ā€œThe purpose and means of the trip are important, but who you go with is more important. More than anything else, I liked the fact I was able to go withĀ friends I’m comfortable with.Ā ShindongĀ took videos and photos during the trip. I’m grateful for the memories, and it was more fun this way. I feel like I received a gift because I gained a memory as a person and not as a celebrity.ā€

Donghae recalled, ā€œYunho and I used the same dorm as trainees, andĀ Changmin and I used the same barracks in the military. It was our first trip together, so I felt excitement and happiness again.ā€

Shindong commented, ā€œI was worried that it might be too realistic, but I think being honest is a fun factor.Ā I wasn’t a trainee in 2002, so I was glad to be a part of this. I am the same age as Yunho, but I felt distant from him. We became close through this trip.ā€

Leeteuk mentioned the other Super Junior members, saying, ā€œEveryone was envious, but especially Ryeowook. TVXQ has a lot of overseas tours, so weĀ set it up according to their schedule, so the four of us were able to go. Ryeowook had a musical, and the other members had solo activities.ā€

Changmin said, ā€œIt was a time to look back on myself. When we were trainees in 2002,Ā we each lived with the dream of becoming a singer. After we achieved it, our dream of being a singer disappeared. So we were able to look backĀ on what our dreams became since then and how we have changed while traveling together. It was a trip, but it was also a time for us to mature.ā€

The show will be released on 9 Oct through SMTOWN’s official YouTube channel. Analog Trip will consist of 12 episodes, and each episode will be released every Wednesday at 10 p.m. KST. YouTube Premium members will be able to watch all twelve episodes on October 9.
