Korean actor couple Park Shin Hye And Choi Tae Joon announced the birth of their baby boy on May 31. Park delivered the baby at a hospital in Seoul.
The announcement was made by their agency SALT Entertainment which released the following statement;
We are sharing news that actress Park Shin Hye gave birth to a healthy baby boy at a hospital in Seoul today (May 31).
Actress Park Shin Hye and her child are in good health, and she is resting with the blessings of her husband, actor Choi Tae Joon, and her acquaintances.
We express deep gratitude to everyone who has sent congratulatory messages, and we ask that warm blessings and support be sent to actor Park Shin Hye and Choi Tae Joon who have welcomed a valuable life.

The couple started dating in 2017 and got married in January 2022.
Park Shin-hye is an actress and singer. She gained recognition as a child on TV shows such as Stairway to Heaven, and Tree of Heaven. She later became famous for her role in the film Miracle in Cell No. 7, one of the highest grossing Korean films of all-time.
Considered to be one of the most prolific actresses of today, Park is also known for her roles in romantic films like You’re Beautiful (2009), The Heirs (2013), Pinocchio (2014–2015), Doctors (2016), Memories of the Alhambra (2018–2019), and action thrillers #Alive (2020) and Sisyphus: The Myth (2021).
She ranked 33 in the Forbes Korea Power Celebrity list in 2015, 12 in 2017, 40 in 2021, and 33 in 2022.
Choi Tae-joon is a South Korean actor, model and TV host. Choi made his acting debut as a child actor, playing the younger version of Jo In-sung’s character in the television series Piano (2001).
He later had supporting roles as the protagonist’s estranged son in fantasy drama Padam Padam (2011) and a 20-year-old high school bully in webtoon adaptation Adolescence Medley (2013).
He first gained recognition for his villainous supporting role in the disaster-mystery drama Missing 9 (2017). He has since taken on lead roles in melodrama Exit (2018) and romcom So I Married the Anti-fan (2021).
