After a year-long dispute, Spice Girl Victoria Beckham wants to end the ongoing feud she has with her daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz. Victoria is not “afraid” of a showdown with Nicola as she believes a little more controversy would not hurt the brand Beckham.
It was reported that a source told Closer Magazine that Victoria wants to settle the feud with her son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola and start bonding as one family unit again.
The source said, “After a year of bickering and tension, Victoria is finally at the end of her tether with Nicola and wants to put it all behind them this year.”

“She wants to see eye to eye with Nicola wherever possible but she’s not afraid to have a showdown with her,” the source added. “Victoria wants to lay all of their problems out on the table and try to get to the heart of the matter.”
“Brand Beckham is never short of any drama, whether it’s David’s Qatar controversy or people poking holes in Vic’s fashion empire – but she feels the least they can do as a family is stand by one another.”
The source even revealed that Posh Spice is willing to show some “respect” to Nicola while adding that Victoria just wants her son and daughter-in-law to remain part of “Brand Beckham.”
“She wants both Nicola and Brooklyn to agree to more family commitments,” the insider said. “She really hates the idea of the other kids seeing how Brooklyn and Nicola behave and thinking that it’s OK.”
“Victoria already feels like she sticks her neck out for Brooklyn’s career and she worries about all of the backlash he’s been getting recently about his aspirations to be a chef.
Show Nicola some respect
“But Victoria is willing to step back when it comes to personal matters and she also wants to show Nicola some respect,” the insider noted.
Before concluding, the source said that Victoria Beckham now “understands” that Nicola Peltz is “her own woman who is trying to make her mark in her marriage.”
Apparently, the feud started at Nicola Peltz’s wedding to the aspiring chef when she chose not to wear Victoria Beckham’s designed dress.
Also, it was reported that Victoria allegedly hijacked the first song Nicola and Brooklyn were supposed to dance on after tying the knot, making the Transformers star storm out of her own reception.
Harper Beckham embarrassed
In other news, Victoria Beckham shared that her daughter Harper has become a little ’embarrassed’ by her famous parents on the school run.
Victoria Beckham, 48 appeared on Dax Shepard’s podcast Armchair Expert where she revealed that Harper, 11 had asked her footballer father David Beckham, 47 to drop her off ‘a little bit away from the school’.
Victoria shared that her husband was ‘heartbroken’ by the fact that his daughter does not think he is ‘cool’.
However, Victoria said she understands, as she was once embarrassed by her father dropping her off at school as a teenager in a Rolls Royce.
Victoria Beckham said that her own father, Tony Adams, used to drop her off at school in a Rolls Royce. She explained that the entrepreneur was “very proud” of his vehicle at the time.
“We had the Rolls Royce but because he was an electrical wholesaler he also had a van. Me and my sister used to say like ‘please drop us [off] in the van’,” she commented.
She continued: “I think more kids at school were being dropped off in a van and so when we were in the Rolls, we’d be like ‘oh please drop us down the road’.”
She recalled feeling “a little bit embarrassed” at the time but added: “Nowadays, I’d be like literally pull up right to the front gate. And I’d be proud to get out of that Rolls.”
‘David was having this conversation the other day when he was dropping off Harper. She was like, ”Daddy can you drop me a little bit away from the school,” Victoria explained.
