Kim Woo Bin, Kim Tae Ri, So Ji Sub, Jo Woo Jin, and Director Choi Dong Hoon attended the stage greeting on August 4.
Alienoid stars Kim Tae Ri and So Ji Sub as well as the movie’s director Choi Dong Hoon were reportedly down with Covid-19.
Choi and So Ji tested positive on July 27, So Ji’s agency revealed that he had used a self-testing kit which was positive followed by a PCR test.
On July 28, Kim’s agency made the following announcement:
Hello. This is Management mmm.
On July 27, Kim Tae Ri was classified to be a close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, and she tested positive on the self-testing kit she used, so she immediately carried out a PCR test. She ultimately received a positive test this morning.
Kim Tae Ri halted all her scheduled activities, and she will self-quarantine in accordance to the guidelines of the government health authorities and concentrate on treatment. Currently, she has no special symptoms.
We will adhere to the guidelines of government health authorities and do everything we can while considering the health of our actors and staff our top priority.

CJ ENM also announced through their official social media account that they would be cancelling director Choi Dong Hoon’s and Kim Tae Ri’s appearances due to Covid-19 cases.
Sci-fi and science fiction film Alienoid was released in theatres on July 20. The film depicts an extraordinary story that unfolds as the gates of time open between late Goryeo and the present in 2022, when aliens appear.
The door of time opens between the swordsmen who want to seize the legendary divine sword at the end of the Goryeo Dynasty and those who chase after an alien prisoner locked in a human body in 2022.
The storyline for the film is a complex one and as a result Choi took two and a half years to write the script. Pre-production took one year and filming was 13 months. Choi said that he had very specific actors in mind when he was writing the script and to his elation all of them accepted the roles offered to them.
The film also stars Ryu Jun Yeol, Kim Woo Bin And Honey Lee.
