After that, they will leave Bangkok on Monday to visit Taipei before returning to Tokyo the same day.

They disclosed no details of the timing or location in Singapore and whether Arashi plans to hold concerts in the four cities is yet to be determined.

In 2006, the Jet Storm tour took them to Thailand, Taiwan and South Korea.

They made a one-day visit to the three places in a private jet to meet fans and drive publicity for their tour.

All five members of Arashi are known as national idols of Japan and the group is one of the most successful Japanese boy bands of all time.

This year the band performed during the enthronement of Emperor Naruhito to Japan’s Chrysanthemum Throne.

Debuting in 1999 under the management agency Johnny & Associates which is a monopoly in the field of Japanese boybands, Arashi announced they have official social media accounts on Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook and Chinese microblogging site Weibo. Arashi opened their official YouTube channel in October.
The group is the first major act under Johnny & Associates to have several official social media channels.
Arashi’s first Instagram post has garnered over 220,000 likes in two hours.

36-year-old member Jun Matsumoto said: “We wanted our fans to enjoy our music such that even when we go on our hiatus, they won’t feel lonely.”

Arashi announced an indefinite hiatus from the end of 2020 after leader Satoshi Ohno, 38 said he wanted to take a break from the entertainment industry to pursue other interests.

Matsumoto adds: “It was the late Johnny Kitagawa’s dream that fans around the world can enjoy our music.”

In July, Johnny Kitagawa who is the founder of Johnny & Associates died at the age of 87.

Arashi announced that they might also be holding a concert in Beijing, China next year but the details have not been confirmed.
