Brie Larson will soon be seen in the Fast & Furious sequel. The Marvel comic heroine will join in the cast of Fast 10 in a role that is yet to be disclosed.
Vin Diesel made the announcement on Instagram with a caption that hints that her role maybe a villainous one.
“You have no idea how timeless and amazing she will be in our mythology. Beyond her beauty, her intellect, her Oscar, haha this profound soul who will add something you might not have expected but yearned for. Welcome to the FAMILY Brie,” the action star wrote in the post alongside a photograph with Larson.
She will also be appearing along side Jason Momoa who plays a villain in the movie and Daniel Melchior.
The film’s next two sequels are set to be the last in the franchise and favourites like Michelle Rodriguez, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster and Sung Kang are all expected to take up their usual roles. Dwayne Johnson however will not be in.
Other famous names that could potentially be in the cast include Helen Mirren, Kurt Russell, Jason Statham, John Cena and Charlize Theron.
Fast 10 will be directed by filmmaker Justin Lin and will appear in theaters on May 19, 2023.
