A Canadian woman who was caught on video hurling racist insults at an Indian man by calling him “Paki” and describing his complexion as “sh*t-colored skin” says she’s “not a racist.” The woman, identified only as Angelique, refused to apologize for what she said, and defended her actions by saying she’s “not a racist” while speaking to a Canadian reporter.

Rahul Kumar, the man at the end of the racist tirade is an Indian man who has been living in Edmonton (capital of Canada’s Alberta province) for the last 7 years. According to Rahul, he was on his way to work on August 21, when a car blocked the emergency exit through which he wanted to drive.

Rahul said he recognized the car as he had seen it before and knew about the woman who often came to visit someone upstairs. The unpleasant incident happened after Rahul brought the matter up to the building management, and the management after determining that the car was in an emergency lane, asked the woman to move it.

Without caring that Rahul was with his pregnant wife as well as his two-year-old son, the woman shouted at him: “Go back to your f****ng country, man!”

The woman however accused Rahul of being the aggressor and claimed that he banged on her car and called her stupid weeks ago. “He went crazy and started banging on my window, telling me I’m f*cking stupid, move my f*cking car,” the woman told a Canadian news channel.

“It doesn’t matter if it justifies it or not; it happened and that’s where I took it, and I’m responsible for that,” she said to the channel after being asked if the disagreement justified her use of racial slurs and derogatory words.
