It appears that it isn’t just Elon Musk that has been getting attention from the public for his shenanigans. His father Errol Musk also made the news recently for having a ‘secret’ child of his own.
The elder Musk who is an engineer, investor and real-estate developer married Elon’s mother Maye Musk in 1970 and they had three children, Elon, Kimbal and Tosca. Maye divorced Errol in 1979 citing mental and physical abuse as the reason for the divorce.
However Errol who is 76-years-old recently confirmed that he had a another child three years ago with stepdaughter Jana Bezuidenhout who is currently 35. The older Musk had a son with Bezuidenhout five years ago. Their son is named Elliot “Rushi” Rush.
In an interview with Parade publication, Musk said that the child was not ‘planned’.
“I haven’t checked her DNA. But she looks just like my other daughters… She looks exactly like Rushi and she behaves like him. So it’s pretty obvious you know.”
Musk also added that the Bezuidenhout does not live with him and when she last visited “the kids were starting to get on my nerves.”
Ironically Errol cites the reason for their split is because of the age difference. Errol and Bezuidenhout have a 40 year age gap.
“I realized she’s two generations behind whereas her mother was one generation behind when I married her. So any man who marries a woman, even if you feel very sprightly, it’s going to be nice for a while. But there’s a big gap…And that gap is going to show itself.”
The Musks seem to be in the limelight for all the wrong reasons lately. More recently Elon Musk was also in the spotlight for admitting to secretly fathering twins in late 2021 with his company executive. He had the twins with Shivon Zills who is Neuralink’s Director of Operations and Special Projects.
