fans have been clamouring for more live-action Obi-Wan for years now.

In fact, it still remains a mystery to why Disney and Lucasfilm decided to make a Han Solo spinoff instead of Obi-Wan, especially since nobody asked for the former and the latter had/has all the fanfare.

Fans who only follow the Star Wars franchise on the big screen may be wondering what else is there to tell about Obi-Wan?

Didn’t he just run away and live in a cave until the events of A New Hope?

Interestingly enough, he didn’t.

The Star Wars TV Series, novels and comics have explored some of Obi-Wan’s adventures post-Revenge of the Sith, pre-A New Hope.

In Star Wars: Rebels, we even see a quick but awesome lightsaber battle between Obi-Wan and Darth Maul, which ends with Master Kenobi slicing through the villain’s chest and killing him.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi series starring Ewan McGregor is the third Star Wars series making its way to Disney+.
