Florence Pugh

Making heads turn is something Florence Pugh does easily especially after she freed the nipple in a hot pink Valentino dress not so long ago. At the British Independent Film Awards recently the actress put on another sexy outfit sans bra.

The 26–year-old actress wore a breathtaking blush slip with a completely silk see-through lace appliqué top, adorned with a matching rose. The figure hugging bodice also featured a thigh high slit.

The actor also sported a tulle ruffle cape to complete the look. The beauty styled her hair in a 1920’s Charleston style with a side parting with soft curls. She wore gold Aquazzura heels and Tiffany & Co jewels to complete the look.

Pugh’s stylist Rebecca Corbin-Murray shared her look on Instagram captioning it “A Pink Confection”.

Florence Pugh has started a fashion trend and is most famous for freeing the nipple, wearing multiple sheer outfits much to the liking of some critics and the condemnation of others.

She told Harper’s Bazaar in a cover story in July, “I was comfortable with my small breasts. And showing them like that – it aggravated [people] that I was comfortable.”

The actress also commented on how strange it was that people were so ‘perturbed’ by her fashion sense.

“They were so angry that I was confident, and they wanted to let me know that they would never wank over me. Well, don’t.”

Florence Pugh later wrote on Instagram for the trolls who criticized her body.

Florence Pugh Comments

“Listen, I knew when I wore that incredible Valentino dress that there was no way there wouldn’t be a commentary on it. Whether it be negative or positive, we all know what we were doing. I was excited to wear it, not a wink of me was nervous. I wasn’t before, during or even now after.

“What’s been interesting to watch and witness is just how easy it is for men to totally destroy a woman’s body, publicly, proudly for everyone to see. You even do it with your job titles and work emails in your bio…?

“It isn’t the first time and certainly won’t be the last time a woman will hear what’s wrong with her body by a crowd of strangers, what’s worrying is just how vulgar some of you men can be. So many of you wanted to aggressively let me know how disappointed you were by my ‘tiny tits’ or how I should be embarrassed by being so ‘flat chested.’

“I’m very grateful that I grew up in a household with very strong, powerful, curvy women. We were raised to find power in the creases of our body. To be loud about being comfortable. It has always been my mission in this industry to say ‘fuck it and fuck that’ whenever anyone expects my body to morph into an opinion of what’s hot or sexually attractive.

Florence Pugh then added a photo of herself covering her nipples with her fingers stating, “for those who feel more comfortable with that inch of darker skin to be covered.

“Grow up. Respect people. Respect bodies. Respect all women. Respect humans. Life will get a whole lot easier, I promise. And all because of two cute little nipples, #fuckingfreethefuckingnipple,” was how she ended her post.

Pugh’s free the nipple movement gained so much traction on social media that it eventually reached her grandmother’s ears.

“I went to see my gran, and she goes. ‘So what’s all this business about your nipples then?” But Florence Pugh said that her grandmother was in fact more enthralled with the gown’s design and not so much its provocativeness.
