TVB actor Raymond Lam reportedly applied for December leave to get married, earlier this year.

His fiancee Chinese model Carina Zhang and his mother were photographed visiting a wedding boutique.

Lam’s fan-club celebration of his 40th birthday which falls on 8 December was cancelled.

The wedding which was scheduled for 8 December is now postponed due to Hong Kong’s pro-democracy protests, Lam told reporters.

Celebrities like singers Jay Chou and Eason Chan also had postponements and cancellations of events.

39-year-old Lam is one of TVB’s most popular artists and is said to be TVB’s most eligible bachelor.

It was speculated that Ng was eyeing his family’s wealth.

Zhang has already moved in to Lam’s luxurious apartment in Pok Fu La, which he bought four years ago for $SGD10.5 million according to the marriage registration document.

After the wedding, the couple may move to another place, with reports of her checking out a bigger unit in the ritzy Mid-Levels residential area with a price tag of more than $SGD17 million.
