Indiana State Police seize Trump-shaped ecstasy pills

Indiana State said they found “ shaped ecstasy pills” during a recent multi-agency operation. The ecstasy pills included some which were orange-colored and -shaped, while others displayed the words ‘Great Again’.

The multi-agency sting operation dubbed ‘Operation Blue Anvil’ conducted from June 19 to June 28, targeted several small time drug dealers along U.S. 31. The officers from nine different area agencies made 129 criminal on 272 different drug related charges.

In addition to the ecstasy pills, authorities said they found , heroin, LSD, methamphetamine, marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, edible marijuana , prescription medication and other yet to be identified.

This is not the first time Trump-shaped ecstasy pills were seized by the authorities. In 2017, German police arrested two Austrians had five bags filled to the brim with similarly shaped ecstasy pills. They said that the President’s last name is also written on the reverse side.

The were found in the car of a 51-year-old man and his 17-year-old son. The two told police they were heading home to Austria after visitng the Netherlands to unsuccessfully buy a car. On searching the vehicle, the German police found around 5,000 pills, which had a street value of around 39,000 euros ($45,800). The car’s two passengers were detained and a judge issued warrants for both of them.

In July last year, British reported that similar Trump-shaped drugs were being produced in Amsterdam and trafficked into the country in large amounts.

The pills were reportedly being sold on the darknet with the slogan: “Trump makes partying great again.”
