American rapper and media personality has angered BTS fans after a series of comments on this week’s episode of his podcast.

In “We Can’t Lose” he recapped Sunday’s Grammy Awards and spoke about what he truly felt about K-pop superstars BTS.

You can get made at me… but I hate them BTS n-as,” he said on April 6. When co-hosts Ice and Ish asked him to elaborate, he said “Do I need a reason? I hate me n-as. I don’t have to divulge my reason to you. I just hate them n-as. I don’t wanna hear that s-t, I don’t wanna see them dance moves, I don’t wanna see you come down in the sky in a little umbrella. I don’t wanna see your four f-in come from the audience and then link up like Voltron and do all the 98 Degrees moves. I don’t wanna see none of this s-t”

Budden then became xenophobic misidentifying the famous South Korean group as being from China.

“I know they big, I know it’s China. I don’t wanna see it,” he said, “I don’t want to see the Korean NSYNC (referring to the famous American boy band).

The “Pump it Up’ rapper was heavily criticized on social media and called out for his racist and xenophobic comments.

Did Joe Budden really just say BTS was from China? Man if you’re gonna go after someone at least do your homework first,” said one fan.

Just heard the Joe Budden podcast clip of him hating BTS, Just say you are a racist and xenophobic, a lot quicker than claiming you hate them but ‘don’t need to have a reason’. Shut the f**k up. They are more successful than you will ever be. Continue to be jealous,” said another fan.

Unsurprisingly a steady stream of brickbats calling him out continues to trend on twitter at the time of this report.
