South Korean celebrity Sulli’s robe slip tops searches in Korean search engine

Fans questioned her choice of not wearing bras but she defended herself saying it is a choice women can make

South Korean singer-songwriter Sulli created a frenzy on the Internet when her live Instagram broadcast showed her revealing part of her breast.

South Korean websites koreaboo and allkpop reported that in the middle of getting her hair and makeup done, Sulli’s live broadcast on 28 Sept saw the loose robe she was wearing slide open to expose part of her breast.

Screenshots of the 50-second clip with Sulli exposing her breast have since gone viral, becoming one of the highest searched items on South Korea’s search engine.

The former member of K-pop girl group f(x) has is known for not wearing bras.

Fans were adamant on questioning her reason for not wearing one.

Sulli responded to the comments by saying, “I don’t get what’s wrong. This is my personal freedom.”

The star has previously noted she did not wear a bra as she disliked “the wires,” while on JTBC2’s Reply Night, she stated that bras were just merely an accessory and that women should wear it if they want to.

Sulli, or her real name Choi Jin-ri, first gained attention as a child actress, playing the young Princess Seonhwa of Silla in the SBS drama Ballad of Seodong before her f(x) debut in 2009.

The 25-year-old South Korean singer, songwriter, actress and model was born 29 March 1994.

In 2009, she debuted as a member of South Korean girl group f(x).

Although Sulli remains with SM Entertainment, she left the group in 2015 to focus on her acting career.

After a three-year long hiatus, Sulli resumed her music career with a feature on Dean’s 2018 single “Dayfly” before making her solo debut in June 2019 with the single album “Goblin”.

Her real name Choi Jin-ri means “the truth” in Korean. Her name was changed to Sulli at the suggestion of a reporter who felt her birth name was “too Christian” and that people from other religions would not like it.
