TVB actor Stephen Wong got married to his girlfriend Samantha Kong recently. The wedding was attended by quite a few big names in the industry and the groomsmen were Kenneth Ma, Jazz Lam, Natalie Tong, Jack Hui, Chou Hoi Yeung, Eric Li and Calvin Chan.
Both Wong and Kong wore traditional Chinese attire. Kong sported gold bangles, a golden pig necklace and a pear shaped wedding ring. Kong is a photographer by profession.
In an interview with Mingpao Wong declared his love for Kong saying that she made him a better man.
“I used to be dumb, but now I am a lot more open and my horizons are broadened so my relationships are better,” he said.
The guests all came in coordinated attire and looked quite striking. Lam told the media on the day of the wedding.
“This morning we skipped a lot of door games. We planned to arrive later than expected so the bridal party would get anxious. The plan worked!”.
Kenneth Ma commented that when it’s his turn he won’t have door games.
“When I get married in future, I will cut out the games because I have a phobia,” he said.
Wong is currently busy with new drama, Deity, Take Your Seat. With only three days off for his marriage he said they would not be going on honeymoon until filming is completed.
The couple have been dating for five years and Wong proposed to Kong on May 5th this year on their 5th anniversary.
He had posted on Instagram saying “I may be late to participate in your past. But your future must include me!
Kong’s response had been equally romantic. “Congratulations! I’ll give myself to you! I have always been in a male-dominated industry. In the five years by your side I can be a lazy and unreasonable woman. Looking forward to the days when you can continue taking care of us.
