Los Angeles — English actor Robert Pattinson became the talk online after being spotted flaunting a white tee with a logo highlighting something from Singapore.
“Robert Pattinson buys the same stuff from a gas station as a broke college kid: Gatorade and a power bar. He’s for the people,” wrote Twitter account @FilmFroth.
However, it was Pattinson’s choice of apparel that got netizens talking.
“Hahaha, okay wait, I just realised he is wearing Singapore’s Bedok rugby team t-shirt,” retweeted @AlyciaBlackCat.

The incident, which was first reported in July last year, resulted in 25 photos of Pattinson donning the t-shirt.
Here are some of the shots uploaded online.
“Like that also can see. I take my hat off to the person who spotted this,” a netizen commented as the incident resurfaced on Mothership on Sunday (Jan 2).
Netizens also got wondering how Pattinson got his hands on the t-shirt.
Back in 2010, he revealed his preference for wearing secondhand clothing, noting his Twilight stardom has made it difficult to continue shopping at thrift stores.
“I like kind of s***ty clothes most of the time. I like secondhand. That’s another thing. I can’t really go into secondhand stores to get new clothes anymore, so I end up wearing the same thing every day,” he said in an IrishCentral article.
He wished he could continue shopping at vintage stores, but he was unable to do so due to paparazzi following him around.
Pattinson could then have gotten his hands on the Bedok Kings t-shirt after it made its way to a thrift store, given that the team travels overseas for tournaments and the public had access to its merchandise.
The back of the t-shirt also showed a 2010 event sponsored by Foster’s beer, indicating that the shirt was more than two decades old. /TISG
