Unhappy Marriages

The model Emily Ratajkowski stated that she knows many individuals who are and some still are in unhappy marriages for a very long time because they are so terrified of divorce, adding that, “I don’t think that’s a healthy way to live.”

Perhaps people should take the model’s advice on relationships, however, she is still in a traumatic phase as she refuses to get rid of her wedding ring, four months after her divorce.

She made the revelations during her podcast High Low with EmRata. Ratajkowski who is also an author, and activist spoke with actress Tommy Dorfman, who said that seeing the model go through divorce helped Dorfman know “I’m not alone.”

Unhappy Marriages and Divorce Stories

Ratajkowski, 31, confessed, “I love a divorce story.” Divorce stories are now very common and if we believe her, they are the result of unhappy marriages.

But when she was asked by Dorfman what she did with her ring, she said, “I still have it.”

Why would anyone keep an object that has become the symbol of a toxic relationship? That was discussed during the show.

While she believe divorce is a sad thing, she says, however, people are so afraid of divorce though they know it is not a good way to live their lives.

Ratajkowski explains, “Every time I hear a divorce story or when I see the news, I have to remind myself that I have to be like, ‘Oh that’s sad.’ I literally say to people ‘Good for you.’ “

Sebastian Bear-McClard and Ratajkowski, who had a son named Sylvester Apollo in March 2021, filed for divorce in September, after four years of marriage.

The celebrity, who broke up with Pete Davidson, 29, and was recently seen with comic Eric Andre, admitted on her podcast that she still has trouble adjusting to the fact that everyone knows who she was just out with. This is the price to pay for being a famous person, she admitted recently.

She is still looking for a positive relationship after the sad divorce. There are so many unhappy marriages out there!
