Taylor Swift is now a billionaire at the age of 33 thanks in part to her sell-out Eras Tour. The Bloomberg Billionaires Index says that she is one of the few entertainers to reach that stage based on music and performances alone.

CNN reports that her North American Eras tour alone is expected to reach $2.2 billion. The film on her concert is also currently dominating the box office.

Earlier this year Forbes estimated her net worth to be at $740 million but her worth is now said to be $1.1 billion thanks to the record-breaking tour.

Her wealth comes from her multiple income streams coming from record sales, concert tours, merchandise sales and brand endorsements.

She also had a number of partnerships with Capital One, AT&T and Stella McCartney among others all of which contributed to her income.

In 2015, her 1989 World Tour made $250 million while her 2018 Reputation Stadium Tour generated $315 million.

Merchandise

Forbes estimates her merchandise alone which sells for around $80 adds some $87 million to her wealth.

Property

In terms of property, she has some $150 million in real estate, with a $30 million mansion in Beverly Hills, a $17.75 million seaside estate in Rhode Island and $40 million worth of property in New York City.

Donations and philanthropy

Taylor Swift may be raking in big bucks but she has not forgotten to help others. She donates significantly to charitable causes giving big amounts to disaster relief efforts. She also gave $4 million to the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Proving she isn’t just a pretty face, her business acumen made her pull out of a $100 million sponsorship deal in 2022 with FTX over concerns of selling unregistered securities. Later on, news reports emerged that many other celebrities are now facing lawsuits for investing in them.
