While the new manager of Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr pointed the finger at the latter for the loos at Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Super Cup, it appears that this is the least of the problem for the football maestro.
His former girlfriend Nereida Gallardo has recently lashed out at his present partner Georgina Rodriguez for transforming into ‘Kim Kardashian’.
Earlier in January, Gallardo, who runs a small business of beauty treatments, took to Instagram and posted an old photo of Rodriguez and a new selfie of the latter.
In the new picture, Gallardo threw a shade on Rodriguez for going under the knife to look a lot like Kardashian.
Gallardo added red arrows pointing to the Rodriguez’s nose and mouth, pointing out the resemblance to Kardashian,
“Today we’re going to talk about Rhinoplasty or Rhinomodelation,” she said, in a sudden revival of a rivalry between the two women.
That might have distracted Ronaldo before the match against Al-Ittihad, coupled with another incident in which Ronaldo was challenged by the home fans at Al-Ittihad of Lional Messi.
Upon arriving to the King Fahd International Stadium for a Saudi Super Cup clash, Ronaldo was saw a rather surprising reaction from the home crowd.
Treated like a king since making the big-money move to the Middle East at Al Nassr, he was instead greeted by chants for his rival Messi. That may have also impacted Ronaldo’s game, says some former supporters of the superstar.
Well, on the pitch Rudi Garcia thinks Ronaldo’s miss in the first half was the turning point in the defeat to Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Super Cup.
Ronaldo was through on goal in the first half but failed to find the back of the net after Romarinho had put Al-Ittihad ahead inside 15 minutes, and that, the coach says, sealed the defeat for this team.
He was probably talking of the massive impact Cristiano has on the team’s psychology because after this, Al Nassr went down and out of the cup in Ronaldo’s first defeat in Saudi Arabia.

Nevertheless, Ronaldo endured a frustrating night as Al-Nassr crashed out of the Saudi Super Cup after a 3-1 defeat to Al-Ittihad.
“One of the things that changed the course of the match was Cristiano Ronaldo’s missed opportunity in the first half,” the French manager told reporters after the match.
