It is known that Thomas Tuchel, the former legendary coach of Chelsea, wants to return to England as a manager of the Three Lions as soon as possible. Furthermore, he has seen all the talent available in the country, whether it be in Chelsea or other teams.
Mason Mount, Reece James, Conor Gallagher, Raheem Sterling, and Ben Chilwell are all current Chelsea players. Despite England’s 2-1 World Cup quarter-final defeat to France on Saturday, the FA is desperate for Southgate to stay.
The Three Lions manager intends to take his time making a decision about his future.
Southgate’s contract would last until the end of 2024, and now with the European Championship in Germany that will be coming up in less than 18 months. Fans are not happy about Southgate’s leadership style. Many are claiming that those who are backing up Southgate or other mediocre managers are the exact reason why England will never win a tournament. Jabs at Southgate never managing a Premier League club was also brought up.
There were complaints that Southgate should’ve never taken Saka off the team. Complaints about the preference for British managers are quite prominent. Fans do not mind where their manager is from but all they care about is the capabilities of their manager. Unfortunately, England lacks a powerful manager like Tuchel, Klopp or even Arteta.

Frank Khalid, a famous businessman and philosopher had recently bumped into Tuchel and was happy to see him healthy. Other fans were also happy at seeing a refreshed image of their iconic coach.
Chelsea fans tweeted for the return of Thomas Tuchel as they prefer him over Potter. Another fan stated that if he sees Tuchel in person, he would just run and give him a big hug. Even a fan that supports Tottenham stated that he would prefer Chelsea rehire Thomas Tuchel.
However, it is abundantly clear that Tuchel is not returning to Chelsea. Maybe he might find a position in another Premier League club, who knows what the future might hold.
