Sadie Sink is on fire right now. Having one of the lead roles in the latest season of Stranger Things, and an important role in Brendan Fraser’s The Whale she is now reportedly going to be cast in Berlin Nobody.

The thriller will also star Blade Runner 2049’s Sylvia Hoeks and rising German actor Jonas Dassler, Austrian star Sophie Roos and Troy actor Eric Bana.

Bana is leading the way in the film as a social psychologist by the name of Ben Monroe whose research on cult mentality leads him to relocate to Berlin.

Sink plays his daughter who becomes infatuated by a local boy played by Dassler.

The film is based on a 2015 novel titled Tokyo written by Nicholas Hong. The film is produced by Ridley Scott of Alien, Gladiator and House of Gucci fame.

Sink rose to fame as Max Mayfield in Stranger Things though during the initial casting the directors thought she may be too old for the role at 14. She said that she “begged and pleaded with them to give her more material so that she could show them something fresh during casting.”

Fortunately for her it worked and she was asked to come back to read with Gaten Matarazzo (who plays Dustin Henderson) and Caleb McLaughlin (who plays Lucas Sinclair). The trio obviously did a spectacular job reading for their roles as all three landed parts in the cult series.

Her pivotal role was actually in Season 4 in the episode titled Dear Billy where she faced off against Vecna while Kate Bush’s once again popular song Running Up that Hill was blasting in the background.

Sink will also appear in drama Dear Zoe which will be released in selected theaters on November 4.

She will be returning to Stranger Things in Season 5 which will be the final installment of the series.
