The level of discontent and racism towards White people in our day and age is increasing day by day. Unfortunately, an X user made a concerning remark regarding White people along with threats. A civilised society would not accept the discrimination against individuals solely on the colour of their skin.
According to Victoria University in Australia, “reverse racism” is a term describing instances where White individuals perceive themselves as victims of negative stereotypes or discrimination due to their race. The term has come up in discussions about the Voice to Parliament referendum in Australia, often misrepresenting the First Nations’ Voice as preferential treatment, which is not the case.
However, “reverse racism” is a concept that fails to account for one of racism’s fundamental aspects: power. Racism is widely defined as “prejudice plus (institutional) power.” The notion of “reverse racism” overlooks the systemic power imbalances, historical injustices, and racial hierarchies inherent in racism. It is often used defensively, reflecting resistance to addressing racial injustices and fueling far-right extremist movements.
Unfortunately, woke institutions do not cover the points regarding those who are openly tweeting and threatening individuals who are White. There must be a solution to stop the hatred among individuals.

X users state that they feel it is a non-White woman tweeting this as she is probably sad of being rejected by a White person. Furthermore, other users seem visibly upset at rhetorics and sentiments like these. Claiming to attack individuals solely on the features they were born with is extremely wrong.

In addition to this, several X users began discussing the imprisonment and crime rate facts among each other. A user states that Black people are only 13% of America, and are committing 50% of the crimes in the country. Unfortunately, most of the crimes done by them are towards their own people. However, according to sources like ADL, they claim that this is a false fact.

Others are speculating that it could indeed be a self-hating White person who wrote this. Regardless, it is still disheartening to see such thinking normalised among the people of today.
