South Korean boy band Omega X has announced the dates and cities for its upcoming tour of Latin America.
On July 24th the group officially announced their dates for the Latin leg of their tour.
They will perform in Guadalajara on September 16 followed by Mexico City on September 18 and Merida on the 21st. Next up will be Bogota on September 23rd and São Paulo on the 28th.
Their 2022 world tour is titled Connect: Don’t give up. The 11 member group also announced that they will be performing in at least 12 cities across the United States later this year though the cities for their US leg have yet to be revealed.
The group made a comeback this year with a new album that came out last month. The new title track of the album was very different from the group’s previous releases which used to mainly be all about being sexy and cool.
The group started with a mini album in January titled Love Me Like with a title track of the same name. Omega X comprises of Jaehan, Hwichan, Sebin, Hangyeom, Taedong, Xen, Jehyun, Kevin, Junghoon, Hyuk and Yechan.
Interestingly all of Omega X’s members have been in survival shows or made their debut in other K-pop groups before joining Omega X. Hangyeom is a former member of Seven O’Clock who also participated in Mix Nine, finishing in 6th place.
Jaehan was a contestant on Produce 101 Season 2 and a former member of Spectrum. Hwichan also participated in Mix Nine and is a former member of Limitless. Sebin is a former member of Snuper and participated in The Unit: Idol Rebooting Project. Taedong participated in Boys24 and Produce 101 Season 2, and is a former member of Gidongdae.
Xen and Jehyun are former members of 1Team. Kevin, Junghoon and Hyuk are former members of ENOi. Yechan participated in Under Nineteen and is a former member of 1the9.
