The conservatives are visibly annoyed at the situation where liberals are over concerned towards a mural. Spokane’s pride crosswalk, twice vandalized, ignited a $15,000 community fundraising effort for its restoration. Spokane Arts and Spokane Pride, led by Skyler Oberst and Bishop Gretchen Rehberg’s Episcopal Diocese, rallied support.

According to AOL, the crosswalk’s revival, ahead of the June 8 Pride Parade, symbolizes unity against hate. Oberst and Matthew Danielson of Spokane Pride celebrate the community’s resilience and commitment to inclusivity, despite budget challenges. The crosswalk stands as a testament to Spokane’s dedication to equality and love, embodying the spirit of Expo ’74’s King Cole.

In addition to this, local leaders in Spokane have expressed strong condemnation of the vandalism of the downtown Pride mural. City Councilman Paul Dillon emphasized the need for action, not just words, and is exploring solutions to prevent future incidents.

Furthermore, Councilmember Zack Zappone is working with the attorney general’s office to establish a hate crimes hotline. City Council President Betsy Wilkerson, visibly emotional, called for community accountability and better protection for the mural.

Leftist leaders “cried” after Spokane Pride mural desecrated

Additionally, conservatives on X state that they do not believe that these leaders are serious about crying about a crosswalk mural that received tire marks. Americans feel that the leftists are prioritizing the Pride flag over the actual American flag which represents freedom and equality for everyone.

Other conservatives state that the leaders should prioritize fighting violent crimes from happening in their respective districts. They add that the safety of the local residents are more important than murals representing diversity. However, these viewpoints from the conservatives may not be accepted by those who are liberals.
