A viral Reddit post suggesting unemployed job seekers should stop applying and start a company together has struck a nerve, and the comments range from deadpan humour to a genuinely thoughtful proposal for decentralised worker organisations.

Another applicant with 15 years of experience said only three of 200 applications resulted in interviews.
