Model Emily Ratajkowski criticised Ellen DeGeneres for upsetting Taylor Swift in the video after it recently went viral in 2012 and included Swift being interviewed by DeGeneres.
A video about Taylor Swift that thatnostalgicgirl posted on TikTok on Friday has received more than 2.2 million views as of Sunday.
The 31-year-old model criticised the TV host for the TikTok interview that went viral. This is so f-cked up, Ratajkowski commented in the comments section.
She continued, “She’s literally pleading with her to stop.” In the aforementioned interview, a visibly unhappy Swift, 33, can be seen seated across from DeGeneres while images of renowned guys including Taylor Lautner, Justin Bieber, Joe Jonas, and Justin Timberlake flash behind them on a screen.

Swift asked to ring a bell each time she comes across a photo of the men she dated
The TV host, now 64, asked the Midnights singer to “ring a bell” each time she comes across a photo of one of the men she dated.
Swift begged DeGeneres to stop, telling the now-embattled TV host that she wanted to keep “the one shred of dignity that I have.”
“I don’t want to [do it]. They’ll send me angry emails, and I don’t want to get them,” the singer stated.
Swift was clearly upset during the interview
“Stop it, stop it, stop! This makes me feel so bad about myself,” she continued. “Every time I come up here, you put a different dude up there on the screen, and it just makes me really question what I stand for as a human being.”
More recently, the singer talked to Apple Beats’ Zane Lowe about interviewers reducing her to the men she had dated in the early days of her career.
Swift did not mention DeGeneres by name at the time but fans say that the singer was clearly talking about the 2012 interview.

“When I was like 23, people were just kind of reducing me to — kind of making slideshows of my dating life and putting people in there that I’d sat next to at a party once and deciding that my songwriting was like a trick rather than a skill and a craft,” she told Lowe.
“It’s a way to take a woman who is doing her job and succeeding at doing her job and making things, and it’s, in a way, it’s figuring out how to completely minimize that skill.”
Ratajkowski is not the only person who called the TV host out in the comments section of the TikTok video, which also featured a clip from Swift’s interview with Lowe.

“Unbelievable,” influencer Tinx wrote, while another user chimed in, “You can literally hear in her voice how upset she is.”
A third wrote, “She’s clearly visibly upset, but having to, like, ‘perform’ that she’s laughing it off because an audience of people is laughing at her.”
DeGeneres, who apologized for cultivating a “toxic” workplace in 2020, ended her long-running show in May 2022 after 19 seasons.
