Angelina Jolie and her children looked happy as they arrived in Spain where the actress started filming for Marvel’s Eternals.
She was seen shopping after arriving on the island of Fuerteventura, dropping by local grocery and discount stores with her kids while juggling work/life balance.
It looks like she is stocking up for a long stay as she works on the latest instalment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
44-year-old Angelina Jolie was all smiles as she goes out in several white outfits throughout the week, bringing Zahara, 14 and twins Knox and Vivienne,11 to a discount store for bargains.
Earlier, Angelina Jolie donned a slinky cami-dress while picking up supplies with Vivienne as they manoeuvred a trolley down aisles.
The actress completed promotional duties for Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil and started work in the role of superhero Thena in the MCU film that continues from Avengers.
The Eternals’ is due for release in November 2020 as production is underway in the Dunes of Corralejo. Tents and trailers are set up for filming.
Angelina Jolie has been seen travelling around the world with her children who she shares with former husband, Brad Pitt.
In 2016, the former Hollywood power couple split up and Angelina shared that her children were very supportive of her when she felt she ‘lost herself’ during the split.
‘The last few years have not been the easiest. I have had my ups and downs. I haven’t felt very strong,’ she told The Sun as reported by Metro UK.
‘We’ve all been a bit in lockdown. ‘We all have our difficult times. I didn’t work, the kids needed me at home… my strength is from my children.’
She added: ‘Anyone who is a parent knows there is a strength within you that grows when you just have to survive anything to be strong enough for them and you have to pull them through anything.’
Angeline was spotted wearing a blond wig on set as production on The Eternals began last month in England.
Based on a group of super-powered near-immortal beings created by a series of genetic experiments on early humans by a bunch of cosmic gods known as the Celestials, The Eternals feature Angelina as Thena, including Richard Madden and Salma Hayek.
‘I’m so excited to be here! I think what it means to be a part of the MCU, what it means to be an Eternal, what it means to be in this family,’ said Angelina as she plays the first superhero film of her career.
Richard, of The Bodyguard fame will play Ikaris, Kumail Nanjianias Kingo, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos and Don Lee as Gilgamesh, the Forgotten One.
The leading ladies of the films are Angelina Salma, Lauren Ridloff and Lia McHugh as Thena, Ajak, Makkari, Sprite respectively.
Sersi will be played by Gemma Chan, making her the first actor to play two different characters in the same universe; she also starred as Minn-Erva in Captain Marvel.
