Jacqueline Wong, the controversial Hong Kong actress would probably not be nominated for this year’s TVB Anniversary Awards.
It has been reported that TVB does not allow Wong to be nominated even though the television series Finding Her Voice which she starred in has received rave reviews.
Malay Mail reported Sin Chew Daily as saying that the decision by TVB to stop Wong from participating in any of TVB’s promotional activities have led fans to wonder whether Wong have been forgiven by the station over her kissing scandal with Hong Kong singer and actor Andy Hui.
It was reported that the actress have been branded so no opportunity to be revived and that Wong’s career is over.
Recently an Instagram post by Wong had raised questions about her future plans.
Wong posted the post last Friday, thanking those who were involved in the production of her TV series Finding Her Voice.
After the controversy, 30-year-old Wong flew to the United States.
After keeping quiet on social media for seven months, she recently made a comeback to Instagram.
Finding Her Voice is a 30-episode series and is one of TVB’s special anniversary series.
It started airing on 7 October.
Maid Alliance and Offliners, two series that feature Wong would be screened in Malaysia.
Earlier this year, Wong was caught kissing Hong Kong actor and singer Andy Hui in a taxi but this ‘scandal’ died out.
Shortly after the scandal, her boyfriend Kenneth Ma also broke up with her.
As for Andy Hui, his wife Sammi Cheng forgave him for the act and also brought him to her concerts so that her fans can forgive him.
In other news, The News Straits Times quoted China Post as saying that TVB actress Jacqueline Wong is rumoured to be pregnant and it is being circulated in Chinese social media channels.
Wong vomited while filming her drama The Maid Alliance last March which sparked the pregnancy rumours.
She said that she had a cold and that her former boyfriend Kenneth Ma brought her to see a doctor.
