A Florida woman has landed in jail after a confrontation at a corner shop over a loud fart she released turned ugly.
According to a police report, 37-year-old Shanetta Yvette Wilson ripped a loud fart out while she was waiting in line at the Dollar General Store in Dania Beach, Florida, prompting another customer in the line, John Walker, to make a comment about her fart.
Furious, Wilson reportedly pulled out a small “lock back knife” from her handbag, “opened the knife and told the victim she was going to ‘gut’ him.” Walker alleged that he feared for his life when Wilson pulled back the hand she was holding the knife with.
The police were promptly called and Wilson was arrested shortly thereafter. Booked at a detention facility in Pompano Beach, near Fort Lauderdale, Wilson was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.
