SINGAPORE – The inaugural Brunei Week is set to launch in Singapore next month, promising to introduce a special Brunei pavilion with over 20 Bruneian-made brands. The Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB) announced the event on 20 August, with a focus on products aimed at luring Singaporean foodies.

Proudly supported by Royal Brunei Airlines, the event will be held as part of MakBesar’s Grand Market 2025 at Suntec City Convention Centre from 5 to 7 September 2025. Brunei Week will feature many first-time brands entering the Singapore market, offering food sampling and product sales directly at the event.
Unique Bruneian flavours are set to whet local appetites, with products like Sabli’s Tea Tarik Dust, Rizqussalam’s Sambal Tahai, and Volco Venture’s Pineapple Sunrise Hot Sauce. These are poised to become a new staple in Singaporean kitchens. For snack lovers, Marimin’s shrimp and fish crackers will be available, while health-conscious consumers can look forward to Skinny Meal’s Root Juice.

Beyond the event, BEDB is working with local distributors and retailers to ensure these products remain accessible to Singaporeans. Meat Aliyah Rizq Pte Ltd and Lim Siang Huat Pte Ltd have both signed agreements, with active shipments already heading to Singapore. Meat Aliyah Rizq will handle retail at their Woodlands outlet, while Lim Siang Huat will manage e-commerce sales with a new “Flavours of Brunei” page.
Norlela Suhailee, Director of Enterprise Development, BEDB, said the event is a result of two years of work aimed at strengthening the market reach of local Bruneian products. “We hope that our products will be warmly received by Singaporeans, further deepening the ties between our two countries,” she added.
Singaporeans looking to explore the unique flavours of Brunei can visit the Brunei pavilion at MakBesar’s Grand Market from 5 to 7 September.
