The recent World Cup in Qatar was both a happy and sad occasion for many. Following the World Cup, Marca Magazine reported about the relationship between the Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez.
It was reported that there were rumours that their relationship is on the rocks and may not appear as it seems on social media. The outlet reported that it has not been a good time for the footballer’s career and that could be the reason why their relationship is not as well as it used to be.

Gonzalo Vazquez, an Argentine journalist reported about the couple in the program ‘Socialite’.
According to Vazquez, the way that Rodriguez gifted the footballer his Rolls Royce for Christmas suggested that something was not right. Rodriguez has shared a new image on her Instagram story for her more than 43 million followers, one showing her and Ronaldo at the start of their relationship.
She did it to lash back at the rumours. Rodriguez accompanied the pictures with the caption “When I was 22 years old I met the love of my life” and “How pretty were we”.

Georgina Rodriguez – baseless rumours
It is clear that Rodriguez wants to put an end to the rumours that suggest that Ronaldo and her may not make it.
One of the more extreme suggestions was that their planned wedding will no longer go ahead and is effectively postponed.
“The recent disappointment of the player in the World Cup in Qatar with the Portuguese national team may have triggered a crisis and the wedding they had planned could be on ‘standby’,” Vazquez had stated, but the model is looking to shut that kind of talk down.
Since 2017, the couple has been dating after meeting at the Gucci store Rodriguez used to work at.
