Hailey and Justin Bieber have just become parents, as Hailey gave birth to a baby boy over the weekend.
Justin put a post up with a picture of the baby’s feet with the simple caption, “WELCOME HOME”. The baby’s name is Jack Blues Bieber.
The couple announced Hailey’s pregnancy quite late, sometime in May, and she was already six months pregnant at the time. In fact, her baby bump was so small for most of the pregnancy that Hailey said she could have hidden her baby bump for most of it.
She told W Magazine at the time, “I was honestly able to keep it quiet because I stayed small for a long time. I didn’t have a belly, really, until I was six months pregnant, which was when I announced it. I was able to wear big jackets and stuff.”
”I could probably have hid it until the end. But I didn’t enjoy the stress of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy outwardly. I felt like i was hiding this big secret, and it didn’t feel good. I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.”
Hailey confesses to being a foodie and, in the same interview, said that her biggest extravagance during her pregnancy was hiring a private chef to prepare dinners at home, which she said was a “huge luxury”.
On what food she ate throughout the pregnancy, she said, “I just listen to whatever the baby wants. If the baby wants pizza one day, we’re doing pizza.”
Speaking about her relationship, she said that there is always constant speculation about her marriage. To her, it feels like people are rooting for them to break up.
“People have made me feel so bad about my relationship since day one. ‘Oh, they’re falling apart. They hate each other. They’re getting divorced.’ It’s like people don’t want to believe that we’re happy. I used to try to act like it hurts less and less. I’ve tried to think that you get used to it at a certain point, that this is what’s going to be said and this is how people are going to be. But I realise that it doesn’t actually ever hurt any less.”
The couple got married in September 2018 and now after six years they are a family of three.
