Jane Fonda has made the news for a strange reason. People are not sure if she is joking or serious but the veteran actress has said she has a specific preference for the kind of lover she wants going forward.
In an interview with comedian Heather McMahan on her podcast Absolutely Not on November 28, the 85-year-old Fonda said, “I’m ashamed to say this, but if I were to take a lover, he’d have to be 20. Oh yeah!”
When she was asked why, her reply was “Because I don’t like old skin.”
The quip resulted in a slew of comments from fans and detractors alike. But some did defend her saying she may have only been joking.
“Y’all are not about to try and cancel Jane plz 😂 she’s being funny.”
Another said, “Jane Fonda can say this lol she’s the goat.”
Another fan said, “Me too Jane 😂”, while someone else said “I’ve heard more people say this 🥲🥲😅.”
