Fans of the bubbly actress, hold on to your seats as Lindsay Lohan is making a comeback. The Mean Girls star who is now 36 took a break from acting for some time but is all set to return on the streaming service.

She will appear in the Netflix romantic comedy titled Irish Wish. The story revolves around the character Maddie and the story takes place at a wedding in Ireland.

The synopsis of the show reads as follows:

When the love of her life gets engaged to her best friend, Maddie puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland.

Days before the pair are set to marry, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, only to wake up as a bride-to-be.

With her dream seeming to come true, Maddie soon realises that her real soulmate is someone else entirely.”

Sound like fun? It is definitely a typical rom-com plot for sure though a release date has not been set yet. She will also be starring in the upcoming Christmas film on Netflix titled Falling For Christmas later this year.

Falling For Christmas is another heartwarming Christmas romance about a newly engaged spoiled hotel heiress who gets injured in a skiing accident in the run up to the holidays. She then finds herself in the care of a handsome blue-collar lodge owner named Chord Overstreet and his precocious daughter. The film will premiere on November 10.

Lohan first shot to fame as a child actress in the Parent Trap where she acted in a double role as both twins. She later became popular for teen flicks like Mean Girls, Life-Size, Confessions of A Teenage Drama Queen and Just My Luck.

The actress who got married earlier this year to Bader Shammas was last seen in the 2019 film Among the Shadows. She also voiced the character of Ziva in an episode of Devil May Care in 2021 and narrated the 2022 dating series Lovestruck High on Amazon Prime.
