The happy couple shared their joyous news through a joint statement posted on Instagram the following day.
In their message, they expressed that October 10, 2023, would forever remain a beautiful and joyous day when their souls became one in holy matrimony. They described their wedding as the most perfect and ethereal celebration of love they could have ever envisioned. The pivotal moment of their new beginning was when the preacher declared them husband and wife, sealing their sacred commitment. They concluded with the exclamation, “Long Live Love!”
Billy and engagement rumours
Engagement rumours between Billy and Firerose initially ignited when she shared a photo wearing a diamond ring on her finger on September 13, 2022. It was later revealed that Cyrus had proposed a month earlier.
The connection between Cyrus and Firerose began in 2021 when they collaborated on a music project. In August of the same year, Firerose seemingly confirmed their relationship with a heartfelt birthday post to Cyrus.
Friends for a long time
According to Cyrus, their first encounter occurred 12 years ago while he was on the set of the Disney Channel series “Hannah Montana” in Los Angeles. This encounter led to a lasting friendship and mutual admiration.
Firerose moved to Cyrus’ Franklin, Tennessee farm in the summer of 2022, where his mother, Ruth Ann Casto, was also residing. It was in August of that year when Cyrus proposed to Firerose, an intimate moment where he simply asked if she wanted to marry him, expressing his deep love and desire for a lifelong commitment.
Design of the ring
Firerose played a significant role in selecting her engagement ring, designing an 18k white gold ring featuring a round brilliant cut diamond as the center stone, held by a 4-prong V Head Center diamond, accented with additional round diamonds.
Prior to his relationship with Firerose, Cyrus was married to Tish Cyrus from 1993 to 2022, and they have five children together: daughters Miley, Noah, and Brandi, and sons Trace and Braison.
