Grumpy old men, Commander-in-Chief

In an exclusive interview with CBN‘s David Brody, former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley shuts down speculations and quashed rumors of her interest in the vice-presidential slot alongside Donald Trump or any other candidate.

Dismissing the notion as offensive, Haley emphasized that her dedication to public service goes beyond aspiring to be vice president.

Haley attributes her recent surge in polling numbers to her commitment to a drama-free approach, drawing a sharp contrast with the tumultuous reputation of the Trump administration.

“With me, there’s no drama, there are no vendettas, there’s no whining. It’s just work,” she asserted, shedding light on her no-nonsense approach to politics.

No VP. “I don’t play for second”

When pressed on whether she categorically rules out the possibility, Haley asserted that she is not willing to entertain the vice-presidential conversation with any candidate. “It’s not even a conversation, and it doesn’t matter what candidate wants me to answer it, I don’t play for second,” she declared, underlining her determination to focus on her path.

While the idea of Haley teaming up with Trump, who once labeled her “birdbrain,” may seem unconventional, she did serve in his administration as an ambassador.

The speculation has been fueled further by comments from individuals like Tucker Carlson, a Trump supporter and former Fox News host, who suggested that Haley’s involvement would lead him to “advocate” against Trump in the 2024 elections.

Adding to the intrigue, Lara Trump, a prominent figure in the Trump camp, added fuel to the speculation by stating on Newsmax, “Never say never” when it comes to Trump considering Haley for the role.

As the political landscape continues to evolve, Nikki Haley remains resolute on the task at hand, leaving the door firmly closed on the vice-presidential question.
