Taiwanese actor Talu Wang is famous for starring in the hit romantic comedy-drama Our Times. Joey Chua is a Malaysian-Chinese actress, singer, model and makeup artist known for her sweet smile. Wang recently confirmed that both of them are dating after keeping their relationship a low profile for some time.
Wang, 31 shared on Weibo a poster of the fourth season of Chinese reality show Wow! Nice Figure, featuring both him and Chua on Friday.
Wow! Nice Figure which debuted on Sunday featured the couple and other celebrity couples attending a “fitness training camp” conducted by Taiwanese artiste and fitness buff Will Liu and his wife, former beauty queen Vivi Wang.

Talu Wang Tags
Wang tagged Chua in his social media post. He was recently one of the contestants on the second season of Chinese music reality show, Call Me By Fire. He wrote in the post: “Is there any exercise which my girlfriend can’t do well?”
28-year-old Chua responded by sharing the same poster on Weibo and tagging Wang, writing in Chinese: “Is there any exercise which my boyfriend can’t learn?”
Their relationship was confirmed by Wang’s manager and was shared to the Taiwanese media without providing more details, only saying that Wang and Chua are in a stable relationship.
The couple, who are both based in China first met in early 2021 while taking part in A Journey For Love, a Chinese reality show for divorced female celebrities to find love again.
Wang was one of the hosts of the dating programme. In 2019, Chua divorced her Malaysian husband Ivan Soh after three years of marriage. She did not end up with anyone when the 12-episode dating show concluded in April 2021.
Chua backlash
After the divorce, Chua suffered backlash and hate from the media, something she discussed in the show.
The media, having dug up her past, said she was not fit to be an idol.
In addressing the hate, Chua wrote, “Everyone would say don’t waste your energy. Such a woman who has been divorced and has children can’t be an idol. Firstly, I don’t have children.
Secondly, in this world, as long as you are willing to do it, there is nothing that’s impossible. Who set these definitions? In the end, it’s not people who set them. Then why can’t I have a breakthrough?
Why can’t I? My courage will help me break down all the impossibilities. Thirdly, the definition of an idol to me is to bring positive energy to fans during their youth, lead them in the right direction.”
A month later after the show concluded, Wang and Chua were seen kissing and hugging in Shanghai. In September 2022, they were spotted at Universal Studios Beijing and holding hands in public several times.
