In turn, Priyanka Chopra is no longer following Sophie Turner on the social media platform. Nevertheless, the Game of Thrones actress continues to follow Kevin Jonas, Kevin’s wife Danielle Jonas, Nick Jonas and her estranged husband, Joe Jonas. Representatives for both Sophie Turner and Priyanka Chopra have not responded to requests for comment.
Chopra was significant in Sophie and Joe’s wedding
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got married in December 2018, while Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas tied the knot in May of the following year. Chopra played a significant role in Sophie and Joe’s 2019 Las Vegas wedding as a bridesmaid and flower girl.
Over the years, Chopra and Turner have displayed their close bond, from appearing together in the Jonas Brothers’ “Sucker” music video to attending the siblings’ Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.
Although Sophie Turner has not commented on her separation from Joe Jonas, she publicly praised Nick Jonas as “dreamy” on Instagram shortly after news of the breakup became public.
Joe and Sophie Turner filed for divorce
Joe Jonas filed for divorce from Sophie Turner in Miami a week later, which she claimed in court documents had been brought to her attention through the media. Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner share two daughters, Willa and Delphine.
The former couple engaged in custody mediation in New York City, reaching an amicable resolution and committing to co-parent effectively, as stated in an Instagram announcement. Joe Jonas has since filed to dismiss the Miami divorce case and settle in private.
Joe Jonas and Turner have been together since 2016, and Chopra began dating Nick Jonas in 2018. She previously expressed her appreciation for having Sophie Turner and Danielle Turner as “family by proxy,” emphasizing that she had never had a sister. Danielle Turner, in a separate interview, mentioned feeling somewhat inadequate around the accomplished actresses that her brothers-in-law had married.
