Financial difficulties
Tori Spelling has been widely reported to be facing financial difficulties following her separation from McDermott. Their split was announced by McDermott in a now-deleted social media post in June, following 17 years of marriage to Tori Spelling. This separation came a month after Tori Spelling revealed that her children had fallen ill due to “extreme” mold in their rental home, which led her to initially check her family into a $100-per-night motel before moving to an RV in August.
Reports suggest that Tori Spelling and her mother, Candy Spelling, have had a strained relationship, particularly after Candy Spelling was named the sole heir of her late husband Aaron Spelling’s $600 million fortune. However, Tori Spelling recently shared a series of nostalgic images with her mother, accompanied by a message that referenced fond memories of “tickle fests” and ice cream fights with her mom and her 44-year-old brother, Randy Spelling.
