Victoria

Victoria Beckham has always been known for her ultra-slim figure and while she may have great luck in the gene department, the former Spice Girl and wife to David Beckham also apparently works hard to maintain her slim silhouette.

The mother of four says she does a ton of stuff to keep slim and has a hybrid workout regimen that involves being “very very disciplined” but she loves it and wouldn’t have it any other way.

She is also apparently very fond of working out together with David and there’s a video of her and hubby lying down on the exercise mat holding hands while they do leg-up crunches.

Workout routine of Victoria Beckham

Victoria begins her day by getting up between 5.30 and 6am and running 7km on the treadmill. She does a mix of brisk walking, jogging and running. This is also where she catches up on her favourite television shows and documentaries. The treadmill routine takes 45 minutes.

She then works with a personal trainer at her private gym in their home. “It is 30 minutes legs, 30 minutes arms, toning and conditioning, then loads of planks and that kind of thing for my core,” said Victoria.

Victoria added that it’s a positive thing for her and has become part of who she is and she never takes a break from it, not even on the weekend.

The former Spice girl also does strength training five or six days a week which is a new thing she has incorporated into her routine. “I’ve always been a bit scared of weights, but it turns out I love them. I’ve even got those special gloves to wear! It’s good to switch things up and keep your body guessing. I’ve so much more muscle tone now,” she says.

Food and nutrition

Despite her grueling routine, Victoria doesn’t feel the need to indulge after working out two hours everyday. Instead she has apple cider vinegar and green smoothies, home made cereals or scrambled eggs with smoked salmon for breakfast.

According to her the whole routine and eating habits makes her feel empowered and helps with her mental health too.

“It’s how it makes you feel. It really gets me ready for the day. It clears my mind. It’s also where I have lots of ideas. It’s a time when I’m not on the phone, I’m not with the children, I’m not with David; I can literally just be left alone.”
