Singapore – Ex Mediacorp actress Jesseca Liu has turned to social media on July 11 (Thursday) in an appeal to get her missing MacBook Air.
In her post, the Malaysian actress explained that she accidentally left her laptop on her car roof at the parking at Block 650 at Jalan Tenaga, where she visited a friend the day before.
She was not sure if the laptop fell to the ground, which was a possibility.
“Dear all, I have lost my PINK MacBook, and it was last seen around the area of blk 650 Jln Tenaga,” wrote the actress on her Instagram post.
“Should anyone see my MacBook air, pls kindly contact and send to the following place:
6478 0660, 745 Toa Payoh Lor 5, The Actuary #02-02B.”
She added that the laptop contains important information and hopes “all the kind souls out there” could help her spread the word.
According to Lianhe Wanbao, the laptop contains a script that Ms Liu had been working on for over a year.
The only copy was on the laptop.
“The script had just been completed and I brought it to my friend to have a look so she could provide some art direction,” said the actress anxiously.
“But when I reached home, I realised that the laptop was gone.”
Many wished in the comments that Ms Liu could quickly find her laptop while others confirmed that they had shared the post.
There were some who also gave advice such as:
Terrence Tey who suggested using iCloud to track the device or Sean Lam who noted the feature “Find My Mac.”
Lina Ang advised the actress to check the nearest CCTV around the area which could show her some leads.
Austin Bauntong shared a photo of the location and asked if it was in the area. Ms Liu replied that it was indeed nearby, around the white car.
Austin Bauntong said that he would look again.
A certain Joyce Ng wondered if she could post a memo in the area of the missing item.
Hopefully, Ms Liu finds her laptop because we’ve all been in that situation of forgetting and losing things.
